Copper exists in the form of CuFeS2 in copper ore.
Copper is isolated in a two-step process.

CuFeS2 : Cu2S = 2 : 1 계수비(= 몰수비) 이고,
Cu2S + O2 → 2Cu + SO2
Cu2S : Cu = 1 : 2 계수비(= 몰수비) 이므로,
CuFeS2 : Cu = 1 : 1 계수비(= 몰수비).
---> CuFeS2의 몰수만큼, Cu를 얻을 수 있다.
CuFeS2의 몰질량 = 183.52 g/mol 이고,
Cu의 몰질량 = 63.55 g/mol 이므로,
(85.36 g) (1 mol / 183.52 g) (63.55 g / 1 mol)
